Urgent Appointment
⚡ Requesting an Urgent Appointment (Today)
If you need to be seen today (Monday to Friday), please:
-
Call us on 0141 531 8180 from 08:30am
When you contact us, our reception team will ask you a few questions about your symptoms or concern. This isn’t to be intrusive — it helps us understand how urgent your problem is and arrange the most appropriate care for you.
Depending on what you tell us, you may be:
-
Offered an urgent appointment with a GP, nurse, or another clinician
-
Asked to make a routine appointment if your condition is not urgent
-
Directed to another local service, such as Pharmacy First, which can often help with minor illnesses and common conditions quickly and effectively
🔒 Your information is confidential
All information shared with our reception team is treated in the strictest confidence. Our staff are trained to handle sensitive details respectfully and follow the same confidentiality standards as doctors and nurses.

You can cancel your appointment by:
-
Calling us on 0141 531 8180 — Monday to Friday from 08:30am

Home visits
🏡 Home Visits
If you are housebound and unable to attend the surgery, a home visit can be arranged.
Before visiting, we will call you first to discuss your needs and ensure that a home visit is the most appropriate way to provide your care.
To request a home visit, please call the practice before 11:00am wherever possible. This helps us plan our visits efficiently and ensure you are seen in good time.
Medical students
🎓 Teaching and Training
Our practice is proud to support the teaching of undergraduate medical students as part of their training to become future doctors.
Patients are usually informed when making their appointment if a medical student will be involved in their consultation. Your participation is entirely voluntary — if you prefer not to have a student present, please just let a member of our team know, and this will not affect your care in any way.
